About Luxembourg City

Luxembourg is a small European country bordering with Belgium, France and Germany. Its capital of the same name is a centre for European institutions such as the European Court of Justice, the European Commission, and the European Investment Bank. Luxembourg is also well-known for its qualified financial services. The Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE), with its sustainability-focused Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX), has global leadership in green bond insurance and green finance development. In addition, Luxembourg has a very international community with 3 official languages and more than half of the 614.000 citizens originate from various other countries. Luxembourg is multicultural and it is also the only sovereign Grand Duchy in the world with its Grand Duke Henri.

Furthermore, Luxembourg will soon offer free public transport and give both its residents and visitors the opportunity to explore its exceptionally preserved fortifications and old quarters which were declared a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site in 1994.
